Our friend John: Celebrating Six Years at Embracia Moonee Valley Home

John recently celebrated his sixth anniversary living with us at the Embracia Moonee Valley home. In fact, he was one of the first residents to ever move in. John has become an integral part of our close-knit community since then. From the moment he first stepped through our doors, he brought with him a zest for life that was truly infectious. His friendliness quickly won the hearts of both residents and staff alike.

One thing to know about John is his enduring love for indoor cricket. A keen cricket player since his younger days, he continues to demonstrate his dedication to the game by participating in weekly matches at a local indoor cricket club.

On the day of his sixth anniversary, we came together to celebrate John’s journey with us and reflect on the friends he has made along the way. John delivered a heartfelt speech, and the kitchen crafted a delicious cake for the celebration.

As we look back on the six wonderful years that John has spent with us, John’s legacy is not just in the matches he plays or the stories he shares—it’s in the way he has woven himself into the fabric of our community…Here’s to John, a resident, a friend, a cricket enthusiast, and a source of a great joy in the home.
