One app to connect the whole family

Checkedin Care App (CiC App) is an innovative communication tool for residents, families and staff to use at Embracia Aged Care.

The free app gives residents, relatives and team members access to real-time updates on the home. Along with information on daily life including lifestyle activities, meal menus, news and more.

The whole family can join the app and stay connected with their loved ones. If you have recently moved in or have a family member staying at one of our homes, we will send you an email on how to login.

Download the App

To access the app, you will need a smartphone to download the CiC Connect App from the App Store (Apple devices) or Google Play (Android devices).

Please check that your phone’s software is up to date and that your phone is supported (iPhone 6s or android smartphone running Android 7 and above).

What is the Checkedin Care App?

The Checkedin Care App (CiC App) is an advanced communication app available for use by residents, families and staff to use at the Embracia Reservoir home and Embracia Moonee Valley home. The app is a central location for information and updates on life in the homes. 

The app allows family members within the residents approved support circle to receive important information and stay connected. It provides timely updates on activities, home information, news, daily activities and has advanced feedback tools. 

What information is on the App?

The app provides information and updates on the following:

  • Regular updates on daily life for residents including lifestyle activities, meal menus and news and events.
  • Up-to-date and timely communications on COVID-19.
  • Support materials on aged care, health advice, dementia care and wellbeing tips.
  • Advanced feedback and survey tools to improve the homes services.
  • Updates for our employees, including training, wellbeing, and support resources.
  • Contact information for both homes and accounts.
How do I access the CiC App?

To access the app, you will need a smartphone to download the CiC App from the App Store (Apple devices) or Google Play (Android devices).

You will receive an email  from the Embracia Aged Care team with information on how to set up your account. 

Once you have done this; you will be able to login via the app portal on your phone and access all of the features.

You can opt out of joining the app or deactivate your account at any time by contacting the home admin team. Find contact details for each home here.

I'm not listed as Next of Kin, can I create an account?

Yes, the CiC App is one communication tool for the whole family.

If you are not listed as Next of Kin but are in the approved support circle, you can still use the app. The home admin will send you an email with information on how to setup your account.

I can't access my account, what do I do?

If you have trouble accessing your account or have forgotten your account details, please contact the app support team. We will assist in retrieving your information and any next steps.

If you didn’t receive an initial email to setup your account, please contact the app support team.

Please allow up to 3 business days for a response to your enquiry.

I'm having trouble downloading the app or logging in.

Please check that your phone’s software is up to date and that your phone is supported (iPhone 6s or android smartphone running Android 7 and above).

If you cannot find the app in your app store, search for CiC Connect.

Ensure you have entered the correct email ID and password to log in.

If you still can’t get the app to install or log in on your phone, please contact the app support team.
